We are representing a global chemical / petrochemical manufacturing organization seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations at a highly automated, continuous processing facility.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on mechanical integrity and maintenance execution. This is not a reliability-only position.
Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager will lead all maintenance functions to ensure maximum equipment uptime, safe and compliant operations, and long-term asset performance.
The facility includes advanced equipment such as rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines), high-pressure steam systems, centrifuges, DCS/process control systems, and electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop maintenance supervisors, planners, and technicians

Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance

Drive equipment uptime, efficiency, and cost optimization

Own and manage mechanical integrity programs

Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective actions

Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams

Manage maintenance budgets, KPIs, and spare parts inventory
-
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and PSM regulations
-
Support plant expansion and capital improvement projects
Required Experience
-
15+ years of maintenance experience in chemical, petrochemical, or refining environments

Proven leadership in plant maintenance (not reliability-only roles)

Strong hands-on experience with rotating equipment and plant systems

Experience in continuous processing environments

Deep understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM)
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
