Position Responsibilities
- Lead structural engineering design and analysis for building projects of varying size and complexity
- Develop structural calculations, technical reports, design documentation, and construction drawings
- Coordinate with architects, developers, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff
- Review designs for compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and best practices
- Participate in project planning, client meetings, and overall project execution
- Support projects throughout both design and construction phases
Required Qualifications
- Illinois Structural Engineer (SE) License — REQUIRED
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one additional state preferred
- 6–8+ years of structural engineering experience focused on building design
- Experience supporting commercial, residential, institutional, healthcare, hospitality, or similar building projects
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, building codes, and construction practices
- U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the United States
