Senior Supply Chain Analyst
Greater Quad Cities Area/Relocation Provided
Fully On-site position

Immediate need for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to support complex global purchasing initiatives, long-lead-time materials, and high-impact supplier relationships within a manufacturing environment. This is a strategic, highly visible role focused on strengthening supply chain resilience, improving cost efficiency, and driving operational excellence. The position partners closely with plant and corporate stakeholders and plays a leadership role in mentoring junior analysts while influencing enterprise-level supply chain decisions.

Essential Job Duties:

Global Purchasing & Supplier Management
Lead purchasing strategies for complex, long-lead-time materials and components across a global supplier base.
Support supplier evaluation and onboarding, including pricing and commercial term negotiations.
Manage supplier performance through scorecards, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.


Strategic Inventory Management & Risk Mitigation
Develop and maintain purchasing plans aligned with production forecasts and business objectives.
Identify and proactively mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, logistical, and capacity constraints.
Support inventory optimization and cost-reduction initiatives through supplier consolidation, competitive sourcing, and value engineering.


Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as a primary liaison between the facility and corporate supply chain, engineering, quality, warehouse/receiving, and finance teams.
Participate in cross-functional initiatives supporting new product introductions, process improvements, and long-range planning.


Data Ownership, Analysis & Process Optimization
Own purchasing-related system master data, including source lists, purchasing info records, pricing, lead times, lot sizing, and vendor parameters.
Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, improve procurement efficiency, and optimize inventory performance.
Leverage ERP systems and analytics tools to drive data-based decision-making and reporting.


Mentorship & Leadership
Mentor and support the development of junior supply chain analysts.
Share best practices and contribute to building a high-performing, collaborative supply chain organization.


 
Qualifications
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
4+ years of supply chain or purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerBI.
Experience purchasing production materials or manufacturing inputs.
Preferred experience supporting a global supply base and negotiating pricing, terms, and lead times.
