Plant Manager

Privately held precision machining manufacturer (~70 employees; ~$40M revenue) supporting aerospace and space customers with complex, tight-tolerance components. Hands-on Plant Manager to lead all manufacturing operations. Full ownership of production, planning, maintenance, quality, safety, and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across a ~70-person machining facility
• Manage production, scheduling, maintenance, quality, and safety
• Drive KPIs including OEE, throughput, quality, and on-time delivery
• Implement Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with leadership on capacity planning, capex, and workforce planning
• Identify bottlenecks and drive data-based improvements
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (AS9100, ISO)
• Support hiring, training, and performance management

Qualifications

• 7+ years manufacturing leadership, including 3+ years plant or operations leadership
• Precision machining required; aerospace & aviation required or similar 
• Must have led teams of 40+ people
• High-mix, low-volume experience
• Strong Lean, planning, and quality systems knowledge
• ERP experience preferred
