Senior-level Master Scheduler responsible for leading scheduling strategy and execution across multiple fabrication and assembly projects. Serves as the scheduling authority for the facility, overseeing CPM development, schedule health, risk mitigation, and forecasting performance across all project phases from engineering through site installation.
Core Responsibilities
Scheduling Leadership
Lead and manage scheduling engineers and project schedulers
Develop and maintain full CPM logic-based baseline schedules
Oversee monthly updates, narratives, dashboards, and executive reporting
Provide training and enforce scheduling standards and best practices
Project Execution & Risk Control
Monitor performance vs baseline and prior forecasts
Perform Time Impact Analyses (TIAs) and recovery planning
Develop cost and resource loaded schedules
Conduct gap analysis, risk reviews, and schedule audits
Generate “what-if” scenarios and acceleration strategies
Technical Expertise
Advanced use of Primavera P6
Utilize Acumen Fuse, Change Inspector, and diagnostic tools
Integrate BIM/4D modeling with VDC team
Apply earned value principles and productivity validation
Stakeholder Engagement
Present scheduling data to leadership and clients
Serve as escalation point for project schedule issues
Support business development with scheduling strategy and contract language
8+ years advanced scheduling experience
Deep CPM expertise in fabrication, assembly, or complex construction environments
Proven leadership of scheduling teams
Strong background in risk analysis, cost/resource loading, TIAs
Ability to defend schedules in claims situations
Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred
Scheduling certification (PSP, PMI-SP, ACE) preferred
