This role is responsible for delivering world-class performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, lead time, and employee development. You will translate business objectives into clear operational priorities, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve business plan targets. Lead the precision bearing manufacturing operation to meet or exceed business plan objectives for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and lead time.
Drive alignment by clearly communicating strategy, goals, and tactical execution plans across all levels of the organization.
Manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and high first-pass yield performance
Ensure accurate and timely production reporting, including maintenance of master data (rates, routings, setup times, utilization, scrap).
Partner with Materials Management to optimize raw material flow and component availability to support demand.
Oversee machining, heat treat, grinding, finishing, assembly, and shipping operations to improve throughput and operational flow.
Monitor scrap, repair, and non-conformance costs; lead initiatives to reduce waste and cost of poor quality.
Develop and execute workforce development programs focused on coaching, training, and capability building.
Identify and lead Lean initiatives to reduce variability, improve process capability, and drive operational excellence.
Achieve or exceed KPIs related to customer satisfaction, quality performance, productivity, and cost control.
Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience within a complex production environment.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and team development capabilities.
Experience with SAP, MRP, or ERP systems; strong analytical and computer proficiency.
Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to coach and develop frontline supervisors and operations leaders.
