A confidential, well-established precision machining organization is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support complex milling and turning operations in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
This role focuses on 4-axis milling and large, complex VTL work, with exposure to advanced machining of hard alloys including stainless steel and Inconel. Candidates with strong machining fundamentals and modern control experience will be highly valued.
Develop CNC programs for milling and turning machines using prints, models, and sketches
Create and verify CNC programs using Mastercam or NX CAM
Support Fanuc-controlled VTLs and lathes
Partner with operators during program prove-out and optimization
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issues with engineering and plant teams
Design or support workholding solutions
Review process plans and drive efficiency improvements
5+ years CNC programming experience (Mastercam or NX required)
Strong 4-axis machining experience (5-axis a plus, not required)
Experience machining hard alloys (stainless, Inconel, aerospace materials)
Proficiency with Fanuc controls
Strong understanding of GD&T and machining fundamentals
