Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) – Primary Care, Outpatient Los Angeles, CA Job Description A leading Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Los Angeles County is seeking a dedicated and mission-driven Women’s Health NP/PA to join their multidisciplinary outpatient primary care team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to underserved and uninsured populations across the region. Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive primary care to women, including preventive care, chronic disease management, reproductive health, and wellness assessments.
Conduct patient evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
Collaborate closely with physicians, PAs, NPs, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to clinical protocols and guidelines.
Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modification.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Master of Science (M.S.) Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
Active NP or PA certification in California.
Minimum of one (1) year of post-certification clinical experience (clinical rotations during training do not count).
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; must be able to conduct full patient assessments without an interpreter.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to underserved communities.
