As an Associate Civil Project Manager, you’ll collaborate with industry-leading experts, support local communities, and develop professionally while helping bring clients’ visions to life.
Lead and supervise engineering designers, including daily assignments, quality reviews, and oversight of deliverables.
Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work.
Serve as primary contact for clients and public agencies, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Provide technical oversight on public works and capital improvement projects, design-build efforts, and pipeline infrastructure.
Prepare and process public works and improvement plans, specifications, and design-build documents for contractor and agency clients.
Conduct preliminary engineering design studies, considering site constraints, land use, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures across California (San Diego region experience strongly preferred).
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
Minimum of 6 years of public works experience, or 10 years of total civil engineering experience.
California Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment.
Proven management and supervisory skills with experience leading technical staff.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, agencies, and peers.
