Senior Commodity Manager – PC Boards
Location: Eufaula, Alabama (Onsite; relocation considered)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commodity Manager with deep expertise in Printed Circuit Boards (PC Boards) to lead sourcing strategy for high-impact, global commodities. This highly visible role will develop supplier partnerships, drive cost and cash improvements, improve quality and delivery performance, and enable early supplier involvement in new product development. The ideal candidate will combine advanced procurement skills with a strong technical understanding of PC Board manufacturing and supply chain dynamics.
Commodity Strategy: Develop and execute long-term sourcing strategies for PC Boards and related electronic components, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market trends.
Supplier Management: Identify, qualify, and manage global PC Board suppliers, ensuring strong performance in cost, quality, delivery, and innovation.
Cost & Value Engineering: Drive cost-reduction initiatives, negotiate contracts, and leverage supplier capabilities while maintaining high-quality standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to ensure supplier engagement early in product design, especially in PC Board layout, materials, and manufacturability.
Risk Management: Monitor supply chain risks for PC Boards (capacity, geopolitical, compliance) and implement mitigation strategies.
Compliance & Quality: Ensure all sourcing activities meet industry standards (IPC, ISO, RoHS, REACH) and support continuous improvement in supplier quality.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
7+ years of procurement/commodity management experience, including 3+ years with Printed Circuit Boards.
Proven experience sourcing multilayer PCBs, flex/rigid-flex boards, and managing high-mix, low-volume as well as high-volume production suppliers.
Strong technical knowledge of PC Board manufacturing processes, materials (laminates, copper foils, finishes), and testing requirements.
Demonstrated success in global sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier development.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
