Warehouse Manager San Antonio, Texas, USA 90000-130000 Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations for a defense manufacturing and distribution facility. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to manage inventory, logistics, compliance, and personnel, while ensuring strict adherence to security and regulatory requirements. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure efficient and secure movement of materials and products.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, shipping, and distribution of materials and finished goods.
Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with defense industry standards, including ITAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations.
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for safety, security, and efficiency.
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Collaborate with procurement and production teams to forecast material needs and align warehouse operations with project deadlines.
Oversee handling and storage of sensitive or restricted materials, ensuring compliance with government and contractual obligations.
Qualifications
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management.
Security clearance or VantageClear certification required.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (ERP/WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with defense industry compliance requirements (ITAR, DFARS, EAR, or equivalent).
Proven track record of managing inventory, shipping/receiving, and warehouse optimization.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (due to defense contract requirements).
