Our client is a global leader in the high-performance battery separators industry .

They need a Maintenance Supervisor to manage a team responsible for all equipment, parts, and maintenance processes on the plant site. optimizing uptime, yield, throughput, asset reliability, critical spare parts management and building / grounds,

The Maintenance Supervisor needs ro ensure proper skills, plant coverage, quality of work and efficient use of maintenance and spare parts personnel

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with other departments, lead projects process improvement and problem solving.

- Contribute to a safe and healthy workplace throughout the plant

- Maintain employee records, disciplinary actions, coaching sessions and job performance reviews.

- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis related to repeat failures and unplanned downtime

- Prepare cost estimates implement changes to methods, estimate savings from changes.

- Conduct studies in terms of methods, time, manufacturing estimates on new and complex work.

- Assist in planning and implementing large-scale maintenance shutdown projects.

- Assist in planning daily maintenance projects, PMs and work orders.

- Responsible for PM optimization and efficiency audit PM and WO performance,

- Plan manpower requirements, to be efficient and effective and minimize over time.

- Maximize uptime by planning downtime efficiently.

- Assist with instructing, training, and answering area-specific questions for other personnel.

- Assist in developing new procedures, revising existing procedures
and maintaining compliance with established procedures as well as mandated state and federal guidelines.

- Control expenditures within limitations of the Maintenance budget..

- 5S as related to the maintenance department.

 Qualifications

Requirements

- Make data-driven decisions focused on prevention in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

- Experience with maintenance in a lean techniques structured quality systems environment

- Lead by example for daily rigor and attention to detail especially safety.

- Preserve what works (document the un-documented, and pass it on) MSO office systems

- Respond with urgency, setting high expectations for everyone in the plant

- Communicate applicable Federal, State, Local, Corporate, and Facility rules and regulations regarding environmental, health, and safety to maintenance employees

- Report accidents and spills and complete investigations immediately after the occurrence..

- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude working knowledge of PLC programs

- Ability to be on call for emergencies and returning to the plant as needed
