Quality Control Supervisor

📍 Nashua, NH | Onsite | Salary: $90,000–$115,000 + Bonus

Overview:
A growing manufacturer in the adhesives and coatings industry is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead lab operations and drive quality excellence across a fast-paced production environment. This role offers hands-on leadership and a strong voice in product specifications, quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. The company serves industrial clients with specialized coatings and web-converting processes.

This position reports to site leadership and supervises the quality lab team. Only local candidates will be considered; no relocation offered.


Key Responsibilities:

Quality Lab Leadership

  • Supervise the Quality Control Lab, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of lab personnel.

  • Ensure effective training and execution of all quality test methods and documentation procedures.

  • Approve process and product specification deviations in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Support lab maintenance and improvement projects aligned with production goals.

Process & Product Quality Oversight

  • Set, maintain, and update quality specifications based on test method capability and process feedback.

  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective action processes to reduce defective product and waste.

  • Partner with production, engineering, and technical teams to define and meet quality goals.

  • Implement tools for statistical process control and continuous monitoring of product quality.

ISO Compliance & Audit Support

  • Support ISO 9000 internal and customer audits and manage required documentation.

  • Ensure calibration and recordkeeping for lab instrumentation and test procedures.

  • Provide technical guidance between the lab, production, and leadership to resolve quality concerns and ensure regulatory compliance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or technical discipline (required).

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a QC lab supporting a manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise a lab team.

  • Skilled in both physical and analytical testing methods; ability to train others.

  • Strong understanding of ISO 9000 standards and quality documentation requirements.

  • Background in adhesives, coatings, mixing, drying, or web converting is highly preferred.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.

  • Local candidates only – no relocation assistance available.

  • Senior Technicians will not be considered for this role.
