Are you a hands-on leader in manufacturing or industrial operations looking for your next step? We’re hiring a Surface Supervisor to lead production and shipping teams in a large-scale salt manufacturing facility. If you’ve worked as a production supervisor, operations lead, shift manager, or maintenance supervisor in a fast-paced plant or industrial setting, this role could be a great fit—even if you don’t have direct salt or milling experience.
You'll lead frontline teams, prioritize safety, ensure smooth production flow, and work cross-functionally to drive results.
Supervise and support mill operators, packaging teams, laborers, and contractors.
Promote and enforce strict safety standards and procedures.
Oversee shift production, scheduling, and quality control.
Train team members and hold them accountable for performance.
Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to maintain productivity.
Support project execution such as equipment upgrades or process improvements.
Uphold high housekeeping and equipment care standards.
High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or associate degrees are a plus.
3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, processing, mining, logistics, or heavy industry.
Mechanical aptitude and a strong understanding of industrial workflows.
Knowledge of mobile equipment or mill operations is helpful but not required.
Ability to coach teams, communicate clearly, and solve problems independently.
Physically able to lift 50–100 pounds and work in changing environmental conditions.
Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
This is a hands-on supervisory role with back-shift flexibility. After training, most schedules (80–90%) will fall into a 2nd, 3rd, or split shift, with occasional adjustments based on operational needs. In return, we offer flexibility and team support when it matters most.
This is more than a job—it’s a leadership opportunity in a stable and essential industry. You’ll gain exposure to critical production operations, grow your management skills, and be part of a supportive, safety-first team environment. Strong performers will find opportunities for advancement and long-term growth.
If you're ready to take the next step in your manufacturing or operations career, we’d love to hear from you.
