RESPONSIBILITIES

Could you outline the day-to-day functions and major project types this role will support?
Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams to develop designs for land development, commercial, retail, industrial, master plans along with residential and multi-family projects.
Design and Planning: Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create civil site drawings, including grading plans, stormwater systems, utility plans, and road layouts.
Permitting and Compliance: Secure necessary permits and ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Client Coordination: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership: Guide and mentor professional staff and team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
 

REQUIREMENTS

Years of experience required/preferred?
8+ required, 10+ preferred both in civil/site projects
Required software proficiency (e.g., Civil 3D, Carlson, MicroStation)?
Civil 3D, Office products
Licensure or certification requirements (e.g., P.E., LSIT)?
Professional Engineer (P.E.)
Educational background preferences?
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred; but if licensed not necessary
 
PROJECT FOCUS

Will this role support specific sectors (e.g., single-family, senior living, roadway, utility, or drainage)?
Haha, everything!  Our current bread and butter is Master Planning, Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Multi-family, Drainage Infrastructure and Roadway infrastructure (for Private clients, we avoid Public works typically)
