The Vice President of Technology and Development role reports to the CEO and will oversee the technology development and roadmap.
The Vice President of Technology and Development will oversee and manage global teams to align technology development with international standards and markets.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and define strategy to maintain and enhance technological leadership in target markets.
• Lead the Corporate Innovation Center, establish and staff it in collaboration with leading universities and National Laboratories to access and integrate new technologies.
• Generate and manage R&D roadmap for company technology development
• Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of technology experts focused on developing market-driven technologies and products.
• Standardize R&D processes and implement best practices to optimize innovation and development efforts
• Build and maintain relationships with key industry players, and research institutions to enhance market position and technological advancements.
Requirements:
• Masters or PhD in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 10 + years of experience in electrochemical/chemical/material science within the battery industry or other industry related to material extraction.
• Proven ability to lead innovative initiatives that translate into commercial success.
• Manage comprehensive R&D programs, resource planning, and product lifecycle management.
• Lead and expand R&D teams and facilities.
• Establish strategic vision and manage technology development.
