Job Description
Our global chemical client is searching for an experienced Chemical Production Engineer to oversee plant production and drives operational improvements. You will be assisting in the design, enhancement, and execution of plant operations. The role is critical in ensuring that production teams operate safely while meeting goals related to productivity, cost efficiency, and product quality. RESPONSIBILITIES:

--- Involved in day to day production support for the continuous chemical operations including troubleshooting and problem solving of process equipment issues
---Oversee plant controls, equipment, and distributed control systems.
--- Runs process trials and process improvement projects.
--- Manages continuous improvements in safety, productivity, quality, reliability and cost.
--- Lead PHA re-validations.
---Participate in or lead Process Safety Management (PSM) activities and audits.

Qualifications:

---Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
---Minimum of 4 years of experience with knowledge of chemical process operations, OSHA regulations, and PSM practices.
---Previous experience in chemical or polymer plant manufacturing is essential.
---Familiarity with primary unit operations such as reaction, distillation, filtration, polymerization, crystallization, and separation.
---Working towards Professional Chemical Engineer License preferred
---Experience with reactors, heat exchangers, tanks, separators, crystallizers, centrifuges, filters, strainers, and pumps.
--- Able to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future.
