Reliability Engineering Leader Augusta, Georgia, USA Job Description As the Maintenance/ Reliability Manager you will be in charge of ensuring all maintenance activities at the plant site are carried out safely and efficiently. This role involves handling daily maintenance, preventive and predictive tasks, long-term projects such as outages and turnarounds, and providing support for capital project planning and implementation. As a key leader, the manager plays a vital role in maintaining the facility’s safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the execution of all maintenance activities, including daily maintenance, proactive asset care, outages, and turnarounds, while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Work closely with the reliability team to ensure the implementation and execution of effective asset care strategies, addressing and resolving major equipment issues to maintain asset integrity and process reliability.
Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget, encompassing routine maintenance, outages, turnarounds, and non-routine tasks.
Coordinate with the project team in planning, developing, and executing capital and non-routine projects.
Lead and mentor team members with diverse skills and experience levels.
Oversee the management of onsite contractors through effective collaboration with third-party vendors.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical preferred or at least 15 years in an industrial maintenance environment. Minimum of 10 years of industrial plant experience or at least 15 years of progressively responsible experience with direct exposure to various maintenance disciplines.
